How to make Ashura recipe?
We loved it, although it was the first time I did it with my wife, I hope you do too.
In the afternoon we soak the wheat, chickpeas and dried beans with enough hot water to cover them.
In the morning, we put the chickpeas and beans to boil in a pressure cooker or in a saucepan, taking care that they soften but do not spoil.
Boil the wheat with 10 glasses of water, do not drain the water, when the wheat softens, add the chickpeas and dry beans and pour in 2 liters of water and cook, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, let’s keep the grapes, figs and apricots in separate containers in hot water (10 minutes).
By the way, you can add hot (boiling) water depending on the consistency of the soup. When all the ingredients are combined, turn off the heat and add the pomegranate, walnut, cinnamon, pistachios and serve.
